COVID-19 PREPAREDNESS PLAN FOR BETH W PHOTOGRAPHY

Beth W Photography is committed to providing a safe and healthy workspace for all clients and session participants. To ensure that, I have developed the following COVID-19 Preparedness Plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. My goal is to mitigate the potential for transmission of COVID-19 in our workspace and communities, and that requires full cooperation among our clients and session participants. Only through this cooperative effort can we establish and maintain the safety and health of our workspace.

The health and safety of my clients is of utmost importance to my business.

Our COVID-19 Preparedness Plan follows Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) guidelines, federal OSHA standards related to COVID-19 and addresses:

  • hygiene and respiratory etiquette;
  • contact-free payments for all transactions;
  • studio housekeeping, including disinfecting and sanitizing;
  • proper communication;

Hand-Washing

I wash my hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water frequently throughout the day, but especially at the beginning and end of a studio session, prior to any mealtimes and after using the toilet. Hand sanitizer is available to any studio session attendees.

Respiratory Etiquette

I will be wearing a mask at all times while in the presents of a client or session attendee, it is optional for my clients to wear a mask when not being photographed. The CDC and MHD strongly recommend that anyone who is not fully vaccinated continue to wear face coverings indoors in businesses. 

Contact-Free Payments

To minimize risk going forward all transactions will be completed contact-free. Once you have secured your session with the online contract form and online retainer payment process I will send you a digital invoice via email with instructions on how to complete your final payment. This payment can be completed any time leading up to your session or even at the time of your session via your own mobile device.  At no point will we exchange a credit/debit card, cash, or check in person. The online payment can be made via credit/debit card, apple/google pay, or ACH (electronic check payment).

Studio Housekeeping

Regular housekeeping practices are being implemented using a chemical-free hospital grade cleaner by Force of Nature. This includes routine cleaning and disinfecting of work surfaces, equipment, props and areas in the work environment, including the restroom, shoot area, seating area. Frequent cleaning and disinfecting will be conducted in high-touch areas, such as light switches, door handles, and the sitting area.

Communication

Prior to scheduling and securing a portrait session with Beth W Photography the client will be provided with a digital copy of this Covid-19 Preparedness Plan. This plan will update as the CDC and MHD recommendations change.
