We are living in such uncertain times right now and like many other people I am taking it week by week in anticipation of our governors updates. I have been and will continue to follow the government and CDC’s recommendations for social distancing. Once the Stay at Home order is lifted I will start my soft-reopening by offering a limited number of sessions which will be held at an outdoor location.
The health and safety of my clients is of utmost importance to my business. With that in mind I have added some new guidelines going forward for portrait sessions. The following are the new updates for outdoor sessions.
Here is a summary
1. I will be following all government and CDC recommendations so if our Stay At Home order is extended or if I am prohibited by law from working we will need to postpone your session.
2. To minimize contact I am implementing contact-free payments. I will be sending you an invoice in a separate email (it comes from intuit quickbooks) that can be paid anytime leading up to your session, you can even pay it from your mobile phone during your session. It will accept a credit/debit card, apple/google pay, or a bank transfer via ACH (an electronic check payment). Special mini-sessions may require payment beforehand, this will be detailed in your contract.
3. I will be wearing a mask and utilizing hand sanitizer when needed during the session. I encourage everyone to wear a mask when possible. A mask is intended to protect the people around you, we do it for each other.
4. I will utilize social distancing staying a minimum of 6’ (it will be more like 10′ when the subjects are not wearing a mask) from everyone and I ask that you do the same for me. You can of course be less than 6’ from your family members attending. We will keep good communication during the session so we know where everyone should be. I will direct the posing from afar. Please do not touch any of the equipment or items I bring along unless it’s something we have already talked about and prepared for.
5. Please do not bring any additional people to the session, keep it to only who is needed for the portraits and transportation.
6. If props are being provided by me they would have been sanitized after their last use and I will sanitize it again right before your use.
7. To minimize risk I ask that you attempt to limit your contact with people outside of your immediate family for the two weeks leading up to your session.
8. To further minimize risk please only bring along what is essential, purses can be left in the car.
9. All participants must be healthy at the time of the session and free from fever for 14 days prior. If any of the participants show any of the following signs of sickness please contact me to reschedule.
- Fever
- Shortness of breath
- Dry cough
- Runny nose
- Sore throat
- Loss of smell or taste
10. As required by our states government I have made my Covid-19 Preparedness Plan available for public view. It can be found here: https://www.bethwphoto.com/covid-19-preparedness-plan-for-beth-w-photography/
